"20 Oct 1981: 05198635PR Adjutant Officer Class I Jan Debbes Attached to Sector 10, South African Army Died of heart attack, at Sector 10 Sick Bay. He was 57."
21 Sep 2026: CauseDeath trimmed to the circumstance of death alone. On import it had been set to Mike Sandham's entire entry, repeating the date, service number, rank, name and unit that this record already holds in its own fields. His wording is quoted verbatim in the citation above, so nothing is lost. Defect found when Graham du Toit's Last Post of 21 Sep 2026 independently confirmed one of these records, Sikirila 49773.
