Research notes

Charlie's Omega, Danie van den Berg (memoir/history of Omega Base, 31 Battalion, Just Done Productions 2007), "List of 31 Bn soldiers killed during and after the Bushwar" (p.80-81) -- itself an extract from this ROH website (www.justdone.co.za/ROH/List_People.php?UnitAbv=31Bat, under the site's old PersonNumber scheme) cross-checked by the author against southafricawargraves.org and Ian Uys's book Bushman Soldiers - Their Alpha and Omega, with discrepancies between those sources ('Differ WGP', 'Differ I.Uys') noted where the author found them. Same date and circumstance as PersonNumber 29328, Sergeant Josia Bambo, already on the ROH -- almost certainly killed in the same landmine incident.

10 Sep 2026: Renamed away from 31 (Bushman) Battalion label; Unit set by Mike Sandham dating rule (31 Bn outside 1 Aug 1980-1 Jun 1989 window, else 201 Bn).
