Sergeant Winnies Elizabeth Ntila, born 20 November 1982, age 41 at death. Devoted mother of three (youngest child five years old). Served SAPS for 18 years from appointment 9 January 2006. Stationed at SAPS Vosloorus, Gauteng. On 3 September 2024, she and a colleague came under fire near a fellow officer's residence in Extension 3, Vosloorus; both rushed to a local hospital; she succumbed to her injuries. Name inscribed on Wall of Remembrance for the 2024/2025 Roll of Honour (SAPS Commemoration magazine).
