Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 18 Sep 2025: 82244443BG Airman Hendrik Frensch van Zyl, Air Force Base Hoedspruit Fire Section, found murdered by persons unknown at Linbro Park, Johannesburg near Alexandra Township with a knife wound to the neck; on his way back to Base from a 7-Day Pass, age 20. ROH unit is Fire Dept; age is 19; ROH says he was probably on his way home (not overwritten). Nickname hennie left.
Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 18 Sep 2026: "82244443BG Airman Hendrik Frensch van Zyl from the Air Force Base Hoedspruit Fire Section was found murdered by persons unknown at Linbro Park, near the Alexandra Township in Johannesburg. He had a knife wound in the neck. He was due to return to Base from a 7-Day Pass when his body was found. He was 20." AGE CONFLICT flagged, not changed: this record 19, Graham 20. Graham also names the unit more fully -- AFB Hoedspruit Fire Section, against the stored "Fire Dept".
