4/11/1981 - Ops Daisy. As far as I know he was serving as a liasion with Unita. It is many years later to remember the detail - we traveled together at the time in my Ratel when we were ambused and he was unfortunately killed together with two of his Unita team members and Pottie Potgieter. Several others were wounded. A tragic day in the history of 2nd platoon, B Coy, 61 Mech Bn, 1981. Until we meet again.
