Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 20 Aug 2026: 08458846BV Captain Keith Neil Smith, 40 Squadron, killed when AT-6 Harvard 7412 crashed near Delmas after going into a spin from which the pilot was unable to recover, age 27. Same aircraft as 2 Lt Paul Christopher Sarbutt. ROH age is 36 (not overwritten). Cause already Harvard 7412 / Delmas. DATE DISCREPANCY 25 Aug 2026: pantser.cmvo.org.za's SADF deaths PDF gives this person's Sterf (date of death) as "27 11 40" (DD MM YY) against the same ServiceNo (08458846BV) and name -- differs from this record's DateDeath (1977-08-20).
