Arthur Barker was awarded the Queens South Africa Medal with the clasps for wittebergen,cape colony,transvaal,south africa 1901. He left a wife Alice and three Children Arthur Sydney,Charles,Alice. His Family was living in Tipton Staffordshire,England. Arthur's son Arthur Sydney went on to win a military medal with the Royal Field Artillery during the first world war. Arthur's Widow Alice went on to remarry in 1905 to Edward Herbert Gwyther and remained living in Tipton Staffordshire. D.S.L
