Research notes
16 Oct 2026: NEW RECORD, NEW AIRCRAFT (no prior ROH record of KH154 existed). Alpine 44 Commemoration crew-roll photo: "Watson D.V., 20, F/S, RAAF, Sydney, Australia". SAWGP CHECKED, NOT FOUND (33 unrelated Watson records reviewed, none matching). DATE UNCERTAIN: source heading says "12/13 October 1944" for all six aircraft; this record uses 12 Oct (matching KG999/KH158's date) for lack of a more specific source -- flagged, not confidently resolved.
