Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post, 6 Oct 2026: "94651320PY Rifleman Reginald Kenneth Jackson from 12 South African Infantry was killed after being struck by a civilian motor vehicle while he was walking back to the Unit after being out on an official evening pass. He was 26." Not in DB prior to this pass.

CAUSE WORDING, NOT CHANGED: SAWGP says "Died in Pedestrian Accident, struck by private vehicle while returning to the unit after an evening pass"; stored cause already consistent (civilian vehicle).
