3 Oct 2026: New record. Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post, 3 Oct 2026: "76501469BG Rifleman Gary Jonathan Fisher from the Army Ordnance Corps was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head while he was stationed in Messina. He was 21." Bushwar Books "Lest We Forget" independently confirms the incident but gives the middle name as "John", not "Jonathan" -- not resolved, noted only. Distinct from the unrelated Jeremy Lionel Fisher (39325, Rhodesian African Rifles, killed 28 Sep 1977) already on the roll.
