Defence of Cannon Kopje, 31 Oct 1899 (under Colonel Walford): 2 officers, 2 NCOs, 4 men killed, ~6 wounded -- officers killed named in Baden-Powell's despatch of 18 May 1900: Captain the Hon. Douglas Henry Marsham, Captain C A Kerr Pechell. Also served at Tuli/Lobatsi under Colonel Plumer (Capt Mowbray wounded, Lobatsi 14 Mar 1900) and on the Kuruman road under Colonel Nicholson/Walford.
