"09 Nov 1992: 83061432HR Rifleman Harold Moses Bitterbosch from N.C. Command HQ, South African Infantry Corps Attempted suicide, by hanging. He died later at 3 Military Hospital. He was 30."
21 Sep 2026: CauseDeath trimmed to the circumstance of death alone. On import it had been set to Mike Sandham's entire entry, repeating the date, service number, rank, name and unit that this record already holds in its own fields. His wording is quoted verbatim in the citation above, so nothing is lost. Defect found when Graham du Toit's Last Post of 21 Sep 2026 independently confirmed one of these records, Sikirila 49773.
