Plumer's Men: The Rhodesia Regiment and the Northwest Frontier during the Second South African War, 1899-1900, Robert Burrett (extensively footnoted against contemporary newspapers, the Rhodesia Regiment Roll, Rhodesian death registers, and NAZ archival sources).: BOX 30, "Casualties of action on 12th February 1900" (Fort Eloff/Sepitsi Hill, near Basuto Kop) -- cross-checked by the author against contemporary newspapers, the Rhodesia Regiment Roll, Rhodesian death registers, and letters from the Roman Catholic Chaplain and one of Plumer's officers. Not previously on the ROH; the database had no Boer War-era Rhodesia Regiment or BSAP casualties recorded at all before this pass.
