William Hofmeyr Louw , son of Jemima Murray and Rev. Andries Adriaan Louw and grandson of Rev. Andrew Murray , was tried by the British at Graaff-Reinet as a rebel. He was executed by firing squad at Colesburg on 23 November 1901.
