Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 13 Sep 2026: P/7365 Bandsman George Sheppard Honeyball, South African Air Force Gymnasium, skull fracture in private motorcycle accident at Pretoria, died shortly after admission to Pretoria Hospital, age 24. Rank/cause/place/age already matched. Unit CORRECTED (John, 13 Sep 2026): "South African Medical Corps" (4373) -> Air Force Gymnasium (2288), per Graham. Used the existing "Air Force Gymnasium" OrgEntity (already on 35 other records, e.g. Ehlers PN 30209) rather than creating a separate "South African Air Force Gymnasium" entity. Not on Bushwar same-day post.
Mike Sandham's research log ("List 1"), imported 16 Sep 2026, credited to The South Africa War Graves Project unless his entry says otherwise: ServiceNo CORRECTED P/7365 -> P/50387. The stored number was contamination, not a reading of this man's record: PersonNumbers 41600 to 41601 -- 2 consecutive records -- all carried the identical number P/7365, which belongs to the record at the head of that run (41600, Barnard, Jan Gerhardus (J G)). A value repeated down a consecutive block of PersonNumbers is a forward-fill import artefact, not men who shared a service number. Mike's log supplies a different and plausible number for this man specifically, so the stored value is known-wrong regardless of whether the replacement proves exact. The displaced value is recorded here.
