Medal awarded 25 May 1979 - "His patrol encountered a group of six CTs, capturing four. Another was shot and killed. The remaining one tried to throw a grenade at the Scouts and Jele, with no regard for his own safety, tackled the CT and stabbed him to death with his bayonet"
