Ettiene Pieter van der Westhuizen was born on the 31st of March 1956 in Vryheid Natal. He was the 2nd youngest of 6 Children. He died in a car accident on the 21st of January 1977 on the road between Naboomspruit and Nystroom along with 4 other army buddies. They were taking an injured soldier to 1 Mil in Pretoria when the accident happened that fatal Friday night. He will always be in our hearts, and is dearly missed by his brothers and sisters.
