Killed in action, heavy fighting continued to rage throughout Northern Owamboland as large groups of heavily armed SWAPO/PLAN insurgents numbering 150+ continued with mass infiltrations into the area from Southern Angola and were constantly being engaged by Koevoet elements in the field. The Koevoet Casspirs bore the brunt of the attacks in the face of fusillades of Soviet RPG-7 anti-tank rockets, Czech RPG-75 anti-tank rockets, Yugoslavian M60 Anti-Tank rifle grenades and M60P HEAP Pencil STRIM rifle grenades. The SWAPO/PLAN insurgents paid dearly for their efforts but the South West Africa Police Counter-Insurgency Wing: Ops-K Division (Koevoet) Units suffered another ten members Killed in Action during these fierce contacts with many others being wounded

16 Sep 2026, ServiceNo contamination sweep: the stored ServiceNo '94654092' was CLEARED. It was not a reading of this man's record. PersonNumbers 33356 to 33359 -- 4 consecutive records -- all carried the identical number, which belongs to the record at the head of that run (33356, Tyelingane, Leonard Jongiziswe (M C)). A value repeated down an unbroken block of PersonNumbers is a forward-fill import artefact, not men who shared a service number; the pattern holds across 850 such runs on this roll and is independently confirmed by Mike Sandham's research log, which attaches such numbers to the head of the run 167 times against 6 contradictions (all examined). No replacement is guessed: this man's real service number is simply not known, and a blank field says so honestly where another man's number did not.
