Died in Shooting Incident, at Nkurenkuru, while on patrol. Although orders had been given that nobody leaves the area where the patrol was camped without notifying the sentries, he moved out of the area and when he returned he was shot in the stomach by the sentry who mistook him for a intruder. He died before medical help arrived
