Rudolph and another officer (Lt), both of 5 SAI Bn, was shot and killed by one of their own troops in the Ops room at the base that used to be at Margate Airport. An OPS Medic also in the building at that time managed to shoot the troop after being wounded himself. We completed training at the Inf School together. His father was the WO at the LWT in 5 SAI.
