Research notes

SN CORRECTION 25 Aug 2026: ServiceNo 77492015BT cleared -- the pantser.cmvo.org.za SADF deaths PDF lists that number under "OTTO, MICHAEL DANIEL" (CPL, Sterf 20 07 82), matching PersonNumber 32412 (Otto, DateDeath 1982-07-20) by surname and exact date, not this record. Original value: "77492015BT". Left as an unresolved collision otherwise -- this correction is specific to this one PDF-confirmed case, not a general claim this record's other data is wrong.
Mike Sandham's research log ("List 1"), imported 16 Sep 2026, credited to The South Africa War Graves Project unless his entry says otherwise: gives Age 28 against this record's 49. This record has no date of birth, so there is nothing to adjudicate with. Flagged, not changed.
