Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 18 Aug 2026: 74767146BG Corporal Johannes Petrus Maritz, 3 SAI, Killed in Action in Southern Angola when they triggered a Soviet POMZ-2M anti-personnel picket mine during mopping-up inside an enemy base complex, age 20. Same POMZ-2M as Nienaber F. PN 32273 and Jordaan J.B.R. PN 30910. ROH had a shorter landmine explosion note — filled.
