SN CORRECTION 25 Aug 2026: ServiceNo 80676695KB cleared -- the pantser.cmvo.org.za SADF deaths PDF lists that number under "KAVATJANA, " (RFN, Sterf 21 12 80), matching PersonNumber 31014 (Kavatjana, DateDeath 1980-12-21) by surname and exact date, not this record. Original value: "80676695KB". Left as an unresolved collision otherwise -- this correction is specific to this one PDF-confirmed case, not a general claim this record's other data is wrong. | Gunners Association RoH lists them (Operational Duty Pre 1963 1951 Captain D.D. Kay) - https://www.gunners.org.za/home-2/roll-of-honour/
25 Sep 2026, Unit2 service-branch sweep: the stored Secondary Unit "Army" was CLEARED as a duplicate. It was not a sub-unit, it was a service-branch word repeating what the Branch column already says. Secondary Unit is for sub-units -- a company, a squadron, a commando -- and this record's branch of service is unchanged at "Army".
