Col (rt) Graham du Toit, Last Post, 29 Aug 2026: Cpl K. Hendriksen, 5 SAI, fell from a moving train at Pieters Station near Ladysmith while preventing a prisoner in his custody from escaping, age 22. Matches ROH record.
13 Sep 2026: Pinetown Roll of Honour independently confirms Cpl Kirk Hendriksen, attended Pinetown Boys High -- their source ("5 SAI Training Unit", died 30-08-1987) gives a date one day later than Graham du Toit's Last Post already on this record (29-08-1987, the Pieters Station train incident); not resolved. Named on the Wayside Cross, Pinetown.
