Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 21 Sep 2026: "73427494BG Rifleman Jacobus Christoffel Du Plessis from 11 Commando Regiment was critically wounded in a shooting incident at Etale Base. He was evacuated back to the RSA but later Died of wounds in 1 Military Hospital. He was 21." Cause enriched: the stored text gave the place as "Etale" and the hospital, but not that he was evacuated to the Republic and died of his wounds. ActualCause changed from "Died in Shooting Incident" to "Died of wounds" and CauseCode SHOT to DOW accordingly -- he did not die in the shooting, he died of it.
