Research notes

Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post 05 Nov 2025: 78913282SP Sergeant B. Calipe, 32 Battalion, collapsed and died after kidney failure while stationed at Buffalo, age 34. ROH first name is Antonio; age is 31; cause is heart attack (Die Buffel Struikel) — not overwritten.
5 Sep 2026, FirstName-contamination revisit (folding into the 31 Aug 2026 scan): Graham du Toit's own 5 Nov 2025 citation already names him "B. Calipe" -- initial only, matching stored Initials "B" exactly; that citation was left "not overwritten" pending confirmation, which this is. Cleared rather than guessed -- correct first name still unknown.
Mike Sandham's research log ("List 1"), imported 16 Sep 2026, credited to The South Africa War Graves Project unless his entry says otherwise: gives Age 34 against this record's 31. This record has no date of birth, so there is nothing to adjudicate with. Flagged, not changed.
