Found at Map Reference 28.U.2.b.1.1 or 50.7619, 2.8942. This is south west of the village of Mesen. One can assume that he died in the fighting of April 1918. His means of identification were: Rhodesian Numeral ***CWGC listing of unknowns in this cemetery, states this man was identified as a Rhodesian. Likely from the "Rhodesian" Company of the 1st South African Infantry, indicated by prefix RR before their regimental number. There is only 13 possibilities who this man could be, all listed on the Menin Gate Memorial. The dates of death reflected in this record are the date span from when these men went missing.
