Michiel Hendrik OTTO was born on 9 FEB 1878 in Zeerust, North West. He was killed by native Africans at Lenokana on 9 DEC 1901. His father was Cornelius Jacobus Bredenkamp OTTO, born in 14 JUL 1828, whom the town of Ottoshoop was named after.
