These wounds were received at the battle of Nooitgedagt on 13 Dec 1900. http://www.flickr.com/photos/43688219@N00/3777803717/in/photostream He was my grandfathers brother. There is a memorial plaque to him in the church at Aylsham, Norfolk where he was born. His mortal remains lie in the Church St cemetary , Pretoria.
