Regimental No 33467 Private Alexander Jordan enlisted in Tullibardine's 2nd Scottish Horse on 23 Sep 1901, and was Killed in Action at Brakenlaagte on 30 Oct 1901. His enlistment records indicated that he was born in Glasgow, and was aged 19, single, CofE, occupation clerk. At the time of enlistment he was residing in Essendon, Victoria, Australia.
