Charles William Daniell (or Will as he was known) born on April 12th 1879 and joined the Wilts Yeomanry at the start of the Boer War (1899-1902). He sailed from England in March 1900 aboard the SS Cymric landing at Cape Town approx 23rd March 1900. Will Daniell died at Harrismith on January 9th 1901 of Enteric Fever. He was 21 years and 9 months old when he died.
