RAF Abingdon was a Royal Air Force station near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England (United Kingdom) — not a South African Air Force base. In 1960 fifteen SADF volunteers trained there as parachute instructors and packers before 1 Parachute Battalion was raised at Tempe. The station later became Dalton Barracks (Royal Logistic Corps).
