- 1978 38562 — Auxiliary Constable Patrick MacHona, 201415, Support Unit (British South Africa Police), aged 27. Murdered, by terrorists. He was injured in an ambush while on patrol in the Chilimanzi Tribal Trust Lands and after being abandoned by his companions, went to a nearby kraal for help. His mutilated body was discovered the next day.
