Honoris Crux Silver (HCS)

The Honoris Crux Silver (Silver Cross of Honour) was instituted on 1 July 1975 for exceptional acts of bravery while in great danger. Twenty-seven (later corrected to include one further) awards were made. The cross is identical to the 1975 Honoris Crux except that the arms are in green enamel.
