"04 Feb 1994: 89753396PE Rifleman Depherence Mamogege Mafolo from 115 South African Infantry Battalion, South African Infantry Corps Committed suicide, upon return from patrol, he did not hand in his rifle and after hearing shots, was found with two bullet wounds to his head. He was 29."
21 Sep 2026: CauseDeath trimmed to the circumstance of death alone. On import it had been set to Mike Sandham's entire entry, repeating the date, service number, rank, name and unit that this record already holds in its own fields. His wording is quoted verbatim in the citation above, so nothing is lost. Defect found when Graham du Toit's Last Post of 21 Sep 2026 independently confirmed one of these records, Sikirila 49773.
