Not previously on the ROH; the database had no Boer War-era Rhodesia Regiment or BSAP casualties recorded at all before this pass. Born 1870 in County Cork, Ireland; Sandhurst 1890; Royal Irish Regiment; injured in the Mashonaland Uprising of 1896; seconded to Plumer's force in Oct 1899 to help train recruits.
