Research notes
16 Oct 2026: NEW RECORD. Alpine 44 Commemoration crew-roll photo: "Foster C.L., 24, WO, RAF, Thomage, England" -- "Thomage" is not a recognisable English place name, possibly a transcription of "Thornage, Norfolk"; not corrected, flagged only. SAWGP CHECKED, NOT FOUND (only an unrelated 112 Sqn Foster on file).
