"13 Nov 1980: 72084445HB Pioneer Johnson Mshoniseni Hlangu from the Bantu Labour Services Auxiliary Died of cancer, generalised, while off duty, at Clairwood Hospital. (He was a member of the South African Auxiliary Services - His ID Card shows him as a member of the Bantu Labour Service, Natal Command)."
21 Sep 2026: CauseDeath trimmed to the circumstance of death alone. On import it had been set to Mike Sandham's entire entry, repeating the date, service number, rank, name and unit that this record already holds in its own fields. His wording is quoted verbatim in the citation above, so nothing is lost. Defect found when Graham du Toit's Last Post of 21 Sep 2026 independently confirmed one of these records, Sikirila 49773.
