Warrant Officer Sello Joel Masedi, born 20 February 1975, age 49 at death. Husband and father of two (youngest child 15 at time of death). Served SAPS for 21 years from appointment 3 January 2003. Stationed at SAPS Mohlakeng, Gauteng. On 30 June 2024, while attending an accident scene, a speeding truck failed to stop and struck him; sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Name inscribed on Wall of Remembrance for the 2024/2025 Roll of Honour (SAPS Commemoration magazine). Rank corrected from incomplete AR extract (was recorded as Constable pending verification).
