Served SAPS for 38 years from appointment 9 September 1986. Served with distinction at SAPS Ngqeleni, Eastern Cape. On 30 September 2024, while walking to a shop in the Ngqeleni CBD, assaulted, disarmed, and fatally shot. Murder case opened for investigation. Rank corrected from incomplete AR extract.
