The Southern Rhodesian Corps of Military Police was formed on 1 January 1964 and renamed the Rhodesian Corps of Military Police in 1967 (motto Exemplo Ducemus). Headquarters at Brady Barracks, Bulawayo, with provost platoons posted around the country; it ran the School of Military Police and the Army Detention Barracks.
